Campus press president takes on SUG /SRC Disagreement

Campus press president, Okorie Kelechi has expressed himself based on the disagreement between the SUG and SRC, he took to his Facebook page to express himself.

My take in the S. U G & SRC battle for supremacy.

The act of the SRC Is based on the oversight functions of the house . To a reasonable extent there should be checks and balances in every government. The house has the right to check the excesses of the executive and act in accordance with the constitution.

It is pitiable to state that the present Absu S U G President has not appointed any CHIEF JUDGE or ATTORNEY GENERAL and the judiciary has not been inaugurated. The judiciary would have been the final arbiter here. This should amount to gross miss conduct as stipulated in s.55(3) , the legislators should look into this based on the lesser fair attitude of Mr. President and members of his executives. If u feel i wrongly opined on the degraded status of the Absu S.U.G I wish to challenge the President on an open online debate to know what is hampering the good activities of the student union .

The change mantra must start with the students first . Stay tuned for more.
