Kefee's Body To Arrive Nigeria On Thursday 10 of July
The body of late entertainer, Kefee Obareki Don-Momoh is expected to arrive Nigeria this week ahead of her burial on Friday, July 11, 2014.
The late Branama singer will be laid to rest in hometown, Okpara-Inland, Ethiope East local government area, Delta State.
Tjough the Delta State Government has already bankrolled her burial, including the cost of her fare back to Nigeria from the US, her corpse will only arrive on Thursday, July 10, according to reports. The reason for this is because her husband, Teddy Don-Momoh, wants his wife buried immediately her corpse arrives Nigeria.
An undisclosed source reveals this to Encomium: There is a slight change in plan. The husband wants his wife buried immediately her corpse arrives and the family supported the plan. The body will be flown in on Thursday July 10, 2014, and taken straight to Sapele, Delta for the burial. The family don't even want the corpse to be taken to the morgue upon arrival”.
This new arrangement will mean that a number of activities that have been designed by Kefee's colleagues to celebrate her life and times with a symposia, concert and others will have to be rearranged for a later date.
The committee of colleagues led by singer Sammy Okposo, is still in talks on how the team will be transported to Delta State, for the burial.
