VC hands over a brand new car to the SRC

The vice chancellor, Distinguished professor E.U. Ikonne has handed over a brand new Toyota Sienna to the Student Representative Council. This followed after the Vice chancellor has promised the house during the SUG-SRC courtesy visit at the senate house on the 3rd of September 2019.

It is however very delightful as the members of the house celebrates the good news. 

The speaker of the SRC, Hon. Chinelo Okolie was greatly filled with joy over what the vice chancellor has done. And she also thanked the man of the people, prof. E.U Ikonne over his kind gesture to the house and she therefore promised that the SRC will continue to support the VC and make ABSU the best University in the country.

Furthermore, members of the house has appreciated the VC on this very act towards the SRC. The honourable member representing Taraba constitiuency, Hon. Prica has expressed immeasurable gratitude to the VC. She said "I am so happy about this new development. It is amazing and I thank the Vice chancellor Prof. E.U Ikonna. And I say, may the Lord bless him abundantly". 

Hon. Ukaegbu Florence, honourable member representing the good people of Ogun constituency appreciated the VC. She said, " indeed it is a thing to behold. I have always believed in this great man as a father, a teacher, a mentor. He speaks lightly and does so great things.  In fact, this is stupendous. I also want to thank the speaker SRC, she is a great woman".
