Manchester United defend sacking Moyes


The wish of many United Fans might be said to have been fulfilled with the dismissal of the ill-coached strategy of the successor of sir Alex Ferguson. Mr Moyes has faced hard time in the club as the club ranking is said to have dropped drastically ,many fans yeild for Moyes to be sacked owing to his incompetence in uoholding the the club title, prestige and name,
The Scotsman was unceremoniously stripped of the Old Trafford reins on Tuesday, just 10 months into his six-year contract after overseeing the Red Devils' worst campaign in almost three decades.
Reports of United's intentions to sack the former Everton boss were picked up by the media before Moyes was informed of the decision, leading to criticism over the way the defunct Premier League champions handled the situation, most notably from League Managers Association chief executive Richard Bevan.
However, a club spokesman has since responded to those claims, telling Press Association Sport: "We do not accept that it was handled in an unprofessional manner.
"The decision was not taken until late Monday night and was communicated face-to-face first thing on Tuesday morning.
"When reports started emerging on internet news sites on Monday afternoon, no decision had been taken at that time."
