Breaking :SRC moves to impeach Remijius,Fin Sec.

Sequel to the motion moved by the SRC during the sitting held on Saturday 6th of May, 2017. the Sug president has been suspended on 8 count charges of gross misconduct, abuse of office, outright floating of the Constitution, financial embezzlement, illegal disbursement of funds, spending without budget, Disrespect of the Legislature, etc. As charged by the Constitution Section 56, A committee has been set up to look into the matter. In the same vein, the SUG FINANCIAL SECRETARY also has been suspended on a 7 count charge of collaboration with the president to embezzle the union's money. The SRC in its next sitting will resolve on the punishment due for the offenders. This is in line with the Constitution Section 55 which empowers the SRC to suspend or impeach any Union official on ground of gross misconduct. This was revealed by SRC Information Chairman Hon Uzoho Chukwudi to one of AbsuVila admins Hon 'David Ukaegbu Lilwizprince'

The President has been ordered to handover every document, property and responsibility to the Vice President within 48hours whereas those confined to the Fin. Sec have been ordered a transfer to the Treasurer within the same timeframe.

You are advised to sternly avoid every business or activity that will bring you together with the duo with regards to those offices as earlier mentioned until a reversal takes place on their suspension.
