Matriculation Gown : Everything You Need To Know

MATRICULANTS - WHAT YOU NEED TO ABOUT THE MATRIC AND THE GOWN​

​PROCEDURES/CONDITIONS FOR HIRING OF MATRICULATION REGALIA AND PURCHASE OF THE MATRICULATION BROCHURE BY MATRICULANTS

a). The hiring cost of the matriculation regalia (gown and cap only) and Brochure is ​FIVE THOUSAND NAIRA (#5,000.00)​ only.
Matriculating students should pay for items in the designated banks- ​ABSU MICRO-FINANCE BANK UTURU,FIRST BANK,FIDELITY BANK,UNION BANK,ZENITH BANK (ALL IN UMUAHIA) AND UBA PLC ABA-OWERRI ROAD, ABA, AND COLLECT THEIR TELLER MADE IN FAVOUR OF ABIA STATE UNIVERSITY, PROCEED TO THEIR COLLEGE/FACULTY/INSTITUTE FINANCE OFFICERS AND OBTAIN OFFICIAL RECEIPTS FOR THE PAYMENT. PAYMENT BEGINS IMMEDIATELY​

b). After payment, students should present their receipt and their regalia and brochure from the college/institute/Faculty officers.
​WEDNESDAY 28TH FEBRUARY, 2018​
c). All hired regalia must be returned to the Faculty officer and college/institute secretaries not later than ​FRIDAY 16TH MARCH, 2018​. THE PENALTY FOR LATE RETURN OF SET OF REGALIA IS ONE THOUSAND NARA (#1,000) PER DAY AFTER DEADLINE.

​ ​REPLACEMENT CHARGE​​
A replacement charge of Twenty thousand Naira (#20,000.00) will be paid for the loss of,or damage to, any academic regalia.
