According to Isreal Ahamefula, he reported that The Abia State University Man 'O' war Command have been charged to live by the principle of its founding fathers.



The Vice-Chancellor Professor Uche Ikonne made this call while addressing the new executive of the university Man"O'' War Command.



He said that his administration is ready to partner with them if only they will live up to expectation.
Professor Ikonne who took his visitors memory lane noted that the reason behind the introduction of the man 'o' war in the university is to help maintain orderliness among students, etc..



In his speech, the Commandant of The Command Mr.Nwankwo Innocent thanked the Vice-Chancellor for the good works he has been doing in university especially as it concern's the Students and the Security Directorate. He further pledge there unalloyed support towards Professor Ikonne led Admin.



In a vote of thanks the Dean Students Affairs Professor F E Eboh thanked Vice-Chancellor for the opportunity and prayed for Gods continual grace.
