Incredible - VC pays a condolence visit to the family of Nneoma Uhuegbu, also visit the rest Survivors in the Hospital

The Vice-Chancellor of Abia State University, Professor Uchenna Eleazer Ikonne today paid a condolence visit to the family of Late Dr. Nneoma Uhuegbu who died few day to her Induction into the medical profession in an auto-crash last week Monday.



Professor Ikonne who made the visit in company of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, University Liberian,Provost College of Medicine and other University staff described the death as a great lose to the family, University and the society at large. He assured them of the entire university support and prayed God to granted them the fortitude to bear this great lost.



Reacting to the visit,the Mother and the First son on behalf of the family thanked the Vice-Chancellor and his team for identifying with them at this moment of grief .

They futher informed the Vice-Chancellor that her remains will be laid to rest this firday,5th August 2016.

In the same spirit,The Vice-Chancellor also visited Dr. #Ola_Chinoso,one of the accident survival who is currently receiving treatment at The Federal Medical Center Umuahia.



Speaking during the visit, Professor Ikonne thanked God for her life and expressed satisfaction towards the level of medical attention been given to her by the hospital management.


He further pledged the university support and promised that she will not miss her induction as He will bring the Registrar of the Board to administer the oath and certificate to her in the hospital.
