Retrospect-Prof Chibuzor Ogbuagu

And Today Absuvila Takes a retrospect of Times and Moments of Prof Chibuzor Ogbuagu in Office.

The Political science Trained scholar was appointed as Vice chancellor Abia State University Uturu in the year 2012  in view of 2011 Academic session.
Prof Ogbuagu took the helm of affairs which was at a point when the University was experiencing a great upheavals and stormy times especially in the areas of finance,maintenance of the University and keeping it Running.

Many would say that he led to the Increment of School fees etc but its expedient to note that he was a man under authority and every action was from the reflection of the government in power at that time, Just like a man Under Authority,as the biblical verses pointed out ,He is told on what to do and that he does.. and before you say He was a bad Man...
Do try and find out what the  revenue was and what was remaining in the purse of the Varsity as prior to the increment of the fees.
Before you put him down the list of Wicked scholars,Take up a research and find out what it takes to run a University..
You know how much it takes to Fuel the University electric machines and run it maintenance plus other miscellaneous expenses.

Personally and outside the varsity costume,Prof is a good loving man.
Despite the stormy days he had as Vice chancellor,He was able to achieve a lot of infrastructures from PTF and notable philanthropist such as Uche Samson Oga, In the course of his administration,The following Infrastructures were achieved .

The new Medical Block
The new Medical Laboaratory complex

The Statistics Block Complex along absu ring road opp Absu water complex
The New E-Library behind New Statistics block.
Lecture East & West Renovation
Hostels Renovation.
Prof Ogbuagu was in the business of taking care of Absu,Even at the outbreak of Ebola,He Provided sanitizers  through the help of the commissioner of Health.

We are not trying to say Prof Ogbuagu had no flaws ,He really had ,but the major of his flaws was increament of the school fees which we have emphasized earlier.

At the fall of 2015 ,The learned Prof bowed and Handed over to Professor Eleazar Ikonne,The current Vice Chancellor Abia State University uturu.

Even Outside Office,Absuvila Remembers you and wishes you more graceful Years on Earth.
