FACT!!! Prof Aluka Did NOT Lead any Protest!!!
As the Students were Protesting at the Gate ,the Provost arrived and Addressed the Students .
And For the past Few days Most blogs In Nigeria Has been carrying the false Information that the Provost Prof Aluka Led the protest. Such False information was carried by blogs which include Nglatest Amebogbedu.
A Student who happens to be on scene who sent Absuvila the pictures said
"On Monday, the Abia state Medical students protested the light outage in the hospital. They carried placards and chanted songs. I was part of them. The protest was peaceful. No violence!! We moved to the hospital gate and barricaded it. Upon pleas from the security officer's, we opened the gates. We stood in front of incoming cars and ensured they read our placards. Then the provost of the medical college drove in. You should have seen the vigor with which we sang, the entrance was blocked off again. To the utmost surprise of the students, the provost lept down from his car. He, unlike the other professor's we'd seen drive past, came out to identify with us. The provost nipped an uprising in the bud. He took a placard and urged us to open the gates and negotiate. It was as this happened, pictures were taken, videos recorded. Cutting the long story short, the provost spoke with us and upon our insistence, gave a week to restore power. Imagine our fury at seeing pictures online of him leading an imaginary protest. That's how jobless and mischievous the Nigerian media has become. To distort so straight a story, to intentionally try to create a sensational headline from nothing. PROFESSOR ALUKA did nothing!!!! Get your facts straight!!! If a leader ignored the protest, the media would brand him 'insensitive' and if he identified with the students and quenched a protest? He's a rebel!"Its Obvious that Prof Aluka wasnt Involved ,Its Time Nigerian Blogs get sanctioned for selling falsified information.
