The Meeting of the ABSU Governing Council with Staff and Student Union Officials

Agenda for Interactive Meeting  of Absu Governing Council with All Staff and Students Union Officials.   
The Interactive Section held today At Ogah Family Auditorium , The Event started about 12 pm with students and staffs well seated.
The opening prayer was led by the former Asuu chairman, Pst Dr David Chikezie, just before the vice-chancellor climbed the podium to address the Staffs and students.
The Vice-Chancellor Prof Chibuzo Ogbuagu having recognized all Protocols duly observed, Introduced the Pro-chancellor Sir Nwachukwu Nwachukwu who mounted the podium.

Speaking at the Event, The Pro Chancellor Sir Nwachukwu Nwachukwu welcomed the idea of interactive section with and staffs students, he said under the administration of Prof Chibuzo Ogbuagu, has fought Against lack of Payment of Salaries to Workers, He Added that the university Received Money From the state government from Last year September and Still Yet, The systems is still running, Payment of Salaries in Progress.
He also talked about Sexual Harassment Female Students Face from Lecturers, He promised to Probe any Staffs who are found wanting in such an Act. He Also Accounted Series of Staff that have been relieved of their Duties because of such a malicious Act.

At the Interactive Section, The Issue Of delay in Students Clearance was raised by the Pro Chancellor, The Issue of the Students Matriculation Number getting ready was also raised, Students being able to question the lecturer for their script  if they illegally and the ways of rising fund to foot the bills of the University.
Many Staffs and Students aired their Views, which include the Absu Asuu Chairman, The NASU Chairman, and the Dean Students affairs.
Still on the Event the Director of Absu ICS Dr J U Ogbonna Stressed the Need for Staff and Students Performance, He also said that the University is moving to a Greater Height in terms of information Technology, he revealed the university is to introduce the use Biometrics in Checking staff and students performance, he said this will help in estimating Staff performance.

The Occasion was graced by students, and the newly elected SUG Officials.
The Vice Chancellor Made some Closing Remarks while The Royal Father Said the final Prayer as the event Came to an end.
