Goodbye to manual result reconciliation excercise says ABSU Vice Chancellor

The Vice Chancellor Dinstinguished Prof Uche E. Ikonne has officially announced the end of manual result reconciliation.

Ugo mmuta of Abia state said this during the just concluded 54th inaugural lecture of the institution which took place at the prestigious Abia State University Uturu Auditorium.

Prof Ikonne went further to disclose the reason for the latest development. He said, " We are advancing. The school has made it easy for students to have easy access to their results. The results of the each student is on the portal and can easily be accessed anytime needed. 

"Reconciliation will no more be done manually. Since the results are online, the Heads of Department will now log into the portal and print each students' result and certificates will be issued. 

" Lecturers can now conduct lectures online from anywhere they are. There will no more need of reading out handout. We are advancing".

He further disclosed that there will not be a form of doctoring of results since all results will be brought directly from portal. The senior course rep also advised students to to ensure their results are in tact to avoid more problems.

The two time DVC, Icon of Nigerian students, Guardian most outstanding Vice chancellor of the year went further to calm the tension looming all over the minds of mass communication students both already existing and aspiring.

He further said that there was no need for panic. The restructuring of the department into segment thereby making mass communication a full faculty is still ongoing. Students were adviced to carry on their academic activities without fear or tension.
