SP0RTS: NIGERIA VS SWEDEN (RIO OLYMPICS, 2016. )
Nigeria will today at night play against Sweden as their second match in group B, after defeating Japan with 5-4 at their first match in the ongoing 2016 Rio Olympics in Brazil. Sweden on the other side played a 2-2 draw against Columbia in their first match.

After their match against Japan, Nigerian coach SAMSON SIASIA, told his team that they just won a game and will not allow the victory to get into their heads. That their target here is to win the gold and that is just their first time of achieving their aim.
He also proceeded by saying that "no two game are the same and for him this hurdle is over, that when he woke up tomorrow he will think of his next match..
Since Nigeria made it's first debut in 1952 Nigerian athletes have appeared in every edition of the summer Olympic games, except for the 1976 summer Olympics in Montreal because of the African boycott.
The Swedes are only making their second appearance, with their previous outing coming in the 1992 games in Barcelona when they were knocked out the of the quarter finals.
