ABSU VC takes on South East Zone CPD .

Abia state University Vice-Chancellor Hosted South East Zone Optometry Continuing Professionals Development Program (CPD )

The Vice-Chancellor of Abia State University yesterday played host to the continuing professional development program (South East Zone). This is a program designed by optometrist and dispensing opticians practitioners in Nigeria.

Declaring the program open,Professor Ikonne who is a Professor of Optometry and a Ranking fellow of the association delivered a speech on "Competence and Scope" as it concerns professionals.

The program featured series of Lecture by Dr. Iyke Nwakibe (Dir. of the teaching program) and Ass. Prof. Raph Akplaba respectively.

In a vote of thanks, The Dean Medical Sciences Absu, who is also a fellow of the association thanked the Vice-Chancellor for the warm reception and pledged their unalloyed support to institution.
