Comrade Smile Ohuba hits the streets of ABSU with thousands of students

It is a remarkable day in Abia State University Uturu as a large crowd of students took to the streets of the institution and its environs to create awareness on the programme  tittled, "Eradicating the Perversive Social Deviation of the youth".

One will believe that Rape, Prostitution, Suicide, Cultism and Drug abuse are the terrible visible entities that has taken its turn amongst youths, ravaging the society, and this is the reason Abia State University Student Union Government ably led by her President, Comrade Ohuoba Smile has taken it upon herself to host the event which will hold on the Thursday the 6th of February, 2020 by 10am prompt at the prestigious university auditorium.

The programme will expose the above mentioned societal impediment, disclosing the possible cause of the vises, problems it has constituted and educating possible ways of solving the challenge.

 

Furthermore, people were thrilled from the beginning of it till the end. The SUG director of Social Pablo caused an uproar as he gave some dance moves which wowed the whole crowd. The dance showoffs was not long as Comr. Smile took the platform to address the students reasuring them of a better show during the event in proper.

During the cause of the programme, there will be essay competition, best hostel competition and a whole lot of challenges with mouth watering winnings. 

The event however will feature dignitaries from various works of life who will speak expressly, admonishing the youths on the need to put an end to the perversive lifestyle prevalent in our society today.

Refreshment was not left out as every participant of the rally got themselves refreshed with edible items.

In attendance of the rally were members of the SUG, members of the SRC, Faculty presidents, Departmental presidents, men of the Man 'O' War Absu chapter, and students of various departments.
