Prof Ikonne lauds Tetfund over commitment on infrastructural development.
The Vice-Chancellor Abia State University, Professoe E. Uche Ikonne has commended the executive secretary and management of Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND) for their commitment towards infrastructural and academic development of institutions of learning in the country.
Speaking during the awareness seminar for TETFUND beneficiaries at the Senate Chamber of the University, Professor Ikonne lauded the renewed efforts of tetfund in ensuring adequate sensitization to prospective beneficiaries, and encouraged members of the academic community to take advantage of the opportunity.
The team led by Dr. Jacob Alade, on behalf of the Executive Secretary, Dr. A. Barfa made presentations on key areas including guidelines and modalities for accessing TETFUND projects, Monitoring and Evaluation Project management, Academic Staff training and Development, Education Support services and Auditing.
The team further commended the Vice-chancellor and management of Abia State University for transparency and efficient management of TETFUND resources.
